Default Coiling Welding Cable.

I was just wondering if it was ok to keep welding cable in a coil when in use?(TIG cables). I've heard it isn't a good idea because of heat build up or something? My welder is like 3 feet from my bench and the cable is like 12.5' long Guess I could snake it around on the concrete floor(which I also read isn't the best). Thanks.

It should be fine as long as you aren't welding constantly. If your cables do heat up, don't roll them. The cables are shielded in rubber for a reason and are cooled by water or "air." I thought that they would warn you about something with coiling and a HF generator (radio noise), but I guess not.
