Default AWD Del Sol Conversion

Since AWD conversions seem to be getting more and more popular, I thought I'd share a project I'm working on right now.

It's a 93 Del Sol, K20 swap, 06 CRV trans with RSX Type S gear swap, 01 CRV rear diff, drive shafts and axles.

We are using the CRV rear hubs mated to DC2 ITR trailing arms and converting the front hubs to DC2 ITR to match the bolt pattern as well as gain some better brakes.

As you can see by the pics, it's a race car meaning we didn't worry about retaining the stock tank but you probably could if you wanted to cut and weld a stock tank.

I'll post updates as we go, you can also follow the project on Facebook if you want at https://www.facebook.com/SyndicatedPerformance

My mechanic just got hands on an RTSI donor, so my sol will follow this path too
How do you made space for the rear diff/axle?

Subscribed for updates. Glad I finally found a swap that had just started, now I can follow along on keep track without having to go back and read posts form 2006 lol

Keep us updated! I'd like to do this one day, but use SH-AWD and a J25 (not J35) with J32 Type-S heads or a G25a out of a Vigor. lol

Also this may a be a little off topic but since you have the car ripped apart do you think or know if a 5G Civic dash would fit in it? I know it would be snug and likely not match the door panels..

I know this is a very old thread but were you able to complete this project? Any chance I can see the pictures. None are showing now and the Facebook page no longer exists!

Thanks
