Default AutoCAD help

I am trying to create a Non car part but can be most resembled as a Perforated Velocity Stack...with the hole being large. Kinda like a Swiss cheese velocity stack. anyone have any helpful info or Drawings they could help me with to get started?

Does it have to be done in autocad? If so what version of autocad are you using?

Create the side view of the tube.
Sweep it.
Draw the circle size you want for the perforation. Extrude it. Place it where you want and then do a solid subtract. To get the perforated look, you are going to have to subtract a number of these extruded circles.

the method of drawing the side view and then revolving it is the easyest way to make it, and then just subtract the cylinders all around the solid. What are you making this for? home made jet?
