Yeah I use the Elite. If I had to do it again, Id go with Jackson or the Speedglas.

You sure you don't have a pro-hobby? The Performance & Elite series are auto on ...

I have an Elite, and I really love it. I've used a lot of different welding helmets, and I always found something to hate about each one. The Elite is the first one that doesn't **** me off.

Rotary is right Agtronic the new digital elite isn't auto-on.

Hey Rotary, did you have the regular miller elite before? is it really worth the extra $$$?

no i never used the regular elite, ironically i bought the digital elite because it uses better arc sensors then the regular elite... it works amazingly not once have i got flashed while welding but i have been flashes a few times because i have forgotten to turn the helmet on... lol .

I don't understand why they would go to manual on? I've used a manual on a few times, and I absolutely hate it.

I've never been flashed with my regular elite.

Hmm my Elite is manual on but it isn't the digital model, bought it about 2-3 years ago. I'd like to grab the digital elite I think because of the better arc sensors if that's true.
