Default Anyone using IC Engine works?

Just wondering if anyone fabricating headers use the IC Engine works solid modeling kit? BTW, I'm in no way affiliated or trying to advertise, just wondering if the manifold and header builders are using the IC kit, or just doing old school trial and error, eye and hand type building.
I bought the kit about 1-1/2 years ago, expensive, but worth it IMO. Just curious since Ive seen some pretty comlicated manifolds on H-T and I wouldn't want to build those eye and hand.

I wish my boss would buy that kit. He said he would if he saw it at SEMA but he never saw them there.

Really... You use Solidworks to develop turbo headers? I'll take it you have an engineering plug in that simultes possible and or shortest paths for the runners given a possible or probably usable area?
I'll admit that i tried using AutoCad to develop turbo headers years ago, didn't work so well, my patients wore thin and I just went back to hand and eye, cutting and welding and trial and error until I got what I wanted.

I don't have anything special. just trial and error in solidworks like you do in the physical sense.

If you can get a hold of it... use Spectrum 5.... its an add on to Solidworks to help you make headers. Real cool program, it goes through macros to let you know different equal length configurations after you specify the exit location.

I've got two sets of icengineworks tubing kits 1.75' and 1.65". They aren't geared to schedule 40/10 pipe. When using them you should make the 1.5"-2" starter tubes for each runner to benefit from all the pieces in the kit.. Something they are working around I think.
