LOL! All you have to do is disagree with a moderator and you can be banned. If you think this is difficult, then your original statement is valid.

Now that guy is a welder. I rarely see anyone on here that can weld like that. Many people in our industry can't weld like that. Probably 90 percent of the guys that make manifolds can't weld even close to that. I don't give a **** if it's backpurged and get full penetration. Yes it will work, but when it comes down to just consistancy and weld quality, whoever that guy is, he knows his ****. I am really surprised that he was even a member on this board...damn that is just too bad he ain't even on here anymore. That guy is on a whole other level. I find it funny when manifold makers and etc..post on here and everyone says nice welds, and jumps on their nuts when in actual reality their welds are just mediocre.

 

holy **** thats good, i'm a certified structural welder all thickness all positions. but holy crapoli that dude can weld, i have actually seen robots weld worse.

we really need this dude back here, what a lost asset.

Is Good. Is one of the best I've ever seen and I've worked in the nuclear business.

That's work you just sit back and admire. Most will realize they (and I) will never attain that level quality and just appreciate it for what it is.

It was a shame that he got banned. I don't know all the reasons but I know other members don't like being corrected when they think they know something.

 

The worst part ios that besides being a unbelievable welder he was a stand up guy overall.He had no problems helping people on here with tips on welding with his vast knowledge of the business.He should be made a moderator of the fab forum on H-T .Engloid was someone that actually made a difference on this board unlike some of the ***-clowns on this site.I think the group of guys in this section of the site are all a bunch of good guys but he will be missed on here.My remarks are not pointed at anyone in this forum

Yea... he got banned for some crap about riding in Jeans. Pretty crappy way to lose one of the better members on this board.

 

I am curious, but how old is this guy? Cause after looking through it some more, it's unbelieveable how cosistant his welding is and how good he is with a vast majority of different materials and etc..

Damn just look at those intercooler pipes he did, they do almost seem seemless.

 

Yah thats really really good, and i'm almost convinced to say that is robotic welding. I find it very very hard to believe that someone can attain that type of consistency, and haz like that everytime.

If that truely is all hand welded, then i don't know what to say.

not all of it is handwelded as if I remember correctly. All the robot welds he set up the machine though. I think if you look carefully at the website he tells which ones are robot and which are not.

 

yeah he says that some of the stainless ones were robotic on the site

not critisizing; just pointing it out, such insane welds

Shut up D!Ck! You have no idea how helpful he was compared to other clown members. He was actually a nice guy who helped many of us with our welding problems, etc. Like above said, we lost an asset.
