Default Alternative AC system?

Has anyone done some sort of alternative AC system? I live in AZ and its like hell here. I have no ac in my car and want to some sort of custom system. One of my VW friends Put a swamp cool on the side of his car in the summer. Its funny as hell to look at. But it works great. If anyone has any Ideas? Thanks -Aaron

if your handy with electronics and can implement it correctly, you can always try a TEC setup (peltier junctions) for sub-ambient cooling. swamp coolers aren't bad, either. personally, i'd just install an AC unit as i live in FL, and it's just as bad here when you factor in humidity.

Best AC is stock. Just source the parts and put it all back in.

I had to have custom AC lines made cause my turbo manifold melted my original ones (EG hatch). Now cool as poop.
