Default 110 welder question

I have friend who is thinking of buying a Lincoln 110 welder or a Miller 220 Volt welder, but he wanted to know how much more will his power bill increase running it maybe 80 hours a month? If anyone knows anything about power payments or is running one now and knows what it added to their bill just write me.

That's kind of like asking, "how much more money will I spend on gasoline if I get a new vehicle?"

I don't know what kind of vehicle, how much gasoline costs where ever it is that you live, where you drive, or how you drive. So the question is impossible to answer, just like what you asked about the welder.

I will say this, compared to the amount of money I spend on shielding gas, my added electrical costs are negligible. But then again I am from West Virginia where we have the cheapest electricity in the country.

It don't have to be exact. I know some people live where the dams water power gives electricity, and some live where coal is the power, and some nuclear. I just wanted some numbers from different people when you run yours how much it added. I don't think it will raise too much but it was just a question he ask me so I posted it just to fine out something. When you used your in Virginia how much did it raise?
