worn synchros

would it be possible to file new rooftops on synchros and synchro sleeve teeth?

You still have the synchro cones flattening, worn springs, burrs on the sleeve to hub mating surface, etc.

I suppose you could, but it would take a LOT of time

they were new synchros with 2000 miles, but the synchro sleeve was not replaced which seemed to chew up the new synchros. they are in pretty good shape just the teeth are f'd up.
