Icon2 Will MP1A replace APX4 application?

I found a used auto. tranny MP1A out from a F22B engine (JDM). I am told the only difference between that and my APX4 auto tranny ('91 Accord EX) is the flex plate and torque converter which they will supply.

Is this correct?

I found out the answer is "yes," but does anybody know about special applications or procedures ? Is there more to it than using the MP1A torque converter and flexplate ? I've read on another thread that a JDM TCU for an H22 + auto. tranny combo. would help too.

More information: not that it probably matters, but I have a MPXA tranny (Japan built) instead of the APX4 tranny (US built). The engine is an F22A4.
