Default Weird Clutch Problem

I have a 2002 Honda Accord 4 cylinder manual transmission vehicle with 176K miles on it and am having problems with the clutch. I have had no abnormal sounds coming from the vehicle nor have I felt anything weird on the gear stick, but I have had problems going into 1st or 2nd from time to time (in which case I would just put it into reverse and then be able to shift into 1st or 2nd gear, but there is no gear slippage or grinding).
The other day while driving the pressure went out on the clutch and I could not shift into any gear (it was like hitting a wall with the gear shifter) but the pedal could/can still spring back up. I checked the clutch fluid and it was low (just below the min line), so I added fluid (a little too much to right above the reservoir max line), and some pressure returned (only enough to get home). The next day all clutch pressure was gone (except for a tiny bit at the bottom of the pressed clutch). I had a friend come over the following day and we jacked up the car. We then checked the clutch fluid level and it was full to the brim of the reservoir, as if I had added more fluid (which I had not). I decided to press the clutch to see if we could see any bubbles in the fluid only to find that pressure had been restored to the clutch and it was able to shift perfectly. I was even able to drive around the following day. Now its the next day after driving around and once again I have no pressure in my clutch except at the very bottom of pressing the clutch down, but that does not allow me to change gears.
It has stumped my friends and cannot find anything similar online as to what the problem may be.
Does anyone have any ideas?
