Default Sequential shift for a run of the mill honda automatic

I've become addicted. I simply rented a Chevy Cruze while on holidays and the normally boring car had a 6spd auto with the ability to shift gears while pressing up or down on the gear lever (you had to move it to the right to use the sequential gears)

Of course this is nothing new, with even some mini-vans having steering wheel mounted shifting buttons...can I add this to my Honda Element? Its a 2008 EX AWD with 5spd electronically controlled automatic. I'd love to rig something in...but does such a mod exist from hondata or such? All it would have to do is be able to tap into the cars transmission and tell it only to shift when I press a button (would have to rig the button of course)

Hoping someone can post some helpful info!

Thanks!

I know this post is old...but no reply :-) Stupid question I supposed...but there must be something on the market that can let me shift my electronically controlled automatic manually? Something that plugs into the OBD port?

Anyone?

Typically when you want more power from your AT Civic, you drop in a manual transmission as the autos were pretty gutless just getting groceries, let alone trying to get groceries faster than a leisurely crawl.
Because of this you'll find aftermarket modifications to automatic transmissions for these Civics are pretty much nonexistant.
