Default Positraction

How do i take out the posi on my 92 civic it came with the car and i have no use for it. It is a b16a cable tranny and my daily driver so no use for it.

my car clicks when it turns so its causing me to get a new tranny

Probably the axles. The OEM B16A LSD's use their own internal fluid.

i was told that it was the tranny cuz the axles were just replaced

Does it click when you turn? If it does it axles. When the OEM viscous diffs fail, they simply act like a stock open diff.

Chris, you are assuming is has a OEM viscous LSD.....what if it is a clutch setup????

Seems the OP hasn't a clue exactly what he has.

Yeah, my assumption is based on the fast that he called it posi. Whenever I hear that thrown around with Honda's, its in reference to an OEM LSD.

no its an aftermarket posi that was put on and i have a brand new stage 2 clutch and this is on a cable tranny if that helps

So if you want to get rid of it...

Pull trans
Take apart
Remove LSD
Install OEM diff
Put trans together
Put back in car
