Friend is selling me his d15b vtech.. It's a cable trans and of corse I have a hydro trans in my 92 hatch.. I don't have the money to buy a diff hydro trans.. What do I have to do to convert my hydro set up to cable..

 

keep your current hydro tranny.

 

It's a cx tranny...way to long of gears...

 

It will cost you more for a hydro to cable conversion than it will for another hydro tranny. You can find good used DX trannys for $50 - $100 EX/Si trannys from a $100 - $175

 

The guy I'm getting the motor from will give me anything off his car that I would need..he has an ef...if it would all mount up to my car is it worth it...and I think he said it might be an itr trans....worst comes to worst I could just mount my cx hydro trans for the time being and find a used z6 trans..
