Default how much play should i have in the diff?

does 2004 tsx have any known issues with transmission or diff?

when car is lifted i spin the wheel and to me it feels like theres alot of play and slight chatter when i rotate the wheels
no noise when its rotating just chatter as it clunks together and engages the opposite side wheel.
i can also hear the clunk when releasing the clutch as im driving.

maybe 30-40 degrees backlash when i rotate the wheel before other side moves

It's commonly said to have somewhat of a weak 3rd gear synchro, as lots of K-series transmission owners gripe about grinding when fast shifting into 3rd. Again check your axles and bearings, that's far more likely to cause that noise. If the diff's spider gears are shot, odds are itd be very loud when driving and something would have broke by now. Grab the inner axle end and center shaft and rotate them with your hands relative to each other. and then you can also grab both axle ends under the car from both sides of the transmission to listen for any major problems. Pics help, get back to us.

heres the video
i was a bit exagerrating lol doesnt look like 30 degrees at all( it felt like though)
but the chatter is noticeable
i get a metal sounding clunk when clutch engages
second gear pops out and 5th gear doesnt go in

im replacing with urethane mounts today and see how it does
had to loosen up all the suspension bushings because they were all twisted when installed
