HELP!! Y8 question

Default HELP!! Y8 question

so i am in the process of puting in a phantom grip in my y8 i finaly got the case off and i find 3 bearing *****.. i have no clue where they go or where they came from i dont see any bad bearing

i could only thing they could be from the screws with the springs maybe they are there to hold the springs in place against the bolts

Those would be the detent ***** for the shift forks. There are 3 detent bolts with springs under them. Replace the aluminum crush washers with new ones when reassembling or you will have shifting issues.

Make sure you didn't damage the detent bolts/springs (by not removing them).

I also highly recommend that you do NOT install the Phantom Grip.
