Default Help changing the final drive???

I purchased a 98+ JDM Integra Type R with a Spoon 1.5way LSD.
I have a Complete 2nd gen b16a gears with no cassing (I have the shift forks and all)
I just purchase a MFactory 4.928:1 Final drive for a GSR/B16a/B16B/Type R with 4.40:1

My trany shop is telling me that the gears from my 98+ spec dont fit the new Final Drive from Mfactory???

Help

If you purchased part no. MF-TRS-02B49A, then no, it will not fit your '98 Spec ITR Tranny. The difference is with the countershaft 1st gear.

We have a specific fitment for the '98 Spec - MF-TRS-02B49B

Can I put the b16a hydro gears on the shaft that I purchased because they are the right ratios???

I have been told ys but that I needed to take the gear selector for 3rd-4th from the non-type r trany???

Thanks

You only need to change the countershaft 1st gear.

You need to use the B16 1st gear, which you should change the mainshaft as mixing used gear sets isn't good.

That or you can purchase an MFactory 3.07 1st gear for the 98+ JDM fitment.

The forks you have are the same.
