Noobish to hondas, but not to automotive. I'm picking up a 91 ef for free, it has a few issues with the tranny, it's an automatic 4spd, I believe. It lurches when shifted from drive to reverse, I'm thinking a tranny mount, and it gets stuck in reverse when it's cold, then also it gets stuck in first gear when it's cold. Any common problems With these trannys? or does it sound terminal. Thanks in advanced!

 

sounds like you need a new transmission LOL. do a auto-manual swap i did it to my teg, because my tranny wasg going out too
