decelerating noise?
I have a 91 ls motor in a 90 civic si. Never had this problem until a few months ago.
When decelerating in any gear it seems to grind kind of like when you are about to stall in first gear. It only happens between 2500rpm to 4000rpm (give or take). Also looking underneath were the shift linkage connects to the transmission it is leaking oil a little. It's not dripping oil but it always has oil around that area.
Another thing is that I notice, is that sometimes when I accelerate majority of the time I hear a clunk from the passenger side. Is that a sign that the axles are going out or what can it be?
Appreciate any help or suggestions.

Well first i would check your trans fluid since your leaking oil to see if its low. clunking sound could be a axle or could be your diffrential bearings going out.
I thought that low fluids was the problem so I drained it and put 2 bottles of oil in it and still the same. Also, can I fix the leak at the linkage without removing the trans?
