Default D series hydro conversion questions

I am trying to piece together the parts before I swap in a d15b into my 90 si. It still has the stock motor and I found the d15 from a friend with only 50k on it.

My question is I got a d series 92 hydro transmission for a steal in the motor price so I took it for a little more.

What are the positives of purchasing a hydro conversion kit and using the hydro trans?

What are the negatives?

If you have first hand experience with this, which kits do you recommend?

Thanks

Positives are parts availability and less leg fatigue with a heavy pressure plate.
