Default Are D diff and spider gears same as B?

I have a friend I'm going some trans work for. He is in need of a B16/ls diff, i happen to have a b16 diff that customer blow apart at the track because he didn't preload. My question is will the spider gears and differential gears swap out of a d series diff to a b series? these are both open diffs and both hydro trans. Im just trying to come up with a cheap solution.
thanks for any help

No they won't. I know the axle spline count is different. As is probably the diameter/size of the side gear.
