I've got a 92 integra LS witha 5-spd cable trans. I got the car with no motor/trans. so when i was putting on the clutch i noticed the pressure plate fingers where flush with the surround. Is this normal? I put a used clutch on it first and installed the tranny and there was NO resistance on the clutch arm.

I went out and bought a new clutch and the fingers are still flush, i don't wanna put it togther until i know it will work
