Clutch
I have a turbo'd GSR that I need to replace the clutch in, currently on 10psi im putting down close to <300whp and 240tq, my stock clutch holds up to the power except for low speed pulls in 4th and 5th it slips when I reach max tq which is about 4.5 - 5k. I don't plan on any time soon making more than 300-350whp, I only plan on adding a Victor X manifold and a full 3" w/ High flow cat (97, for emissions), I will most likely stop there for a year or two until I get out of College.
I am stuck in which clutch to go with, either a Competition Stg 4 $350, XTD stg 3 $150 or this XTD Stg 4 for $200
The specs on the comp stg 4 is `300tq, XTD Stg 3 is ~280tq and XTD Stg 4 is 315tq (un-sprung disk)
I want to go with the comp stg 4 but, on the other hand if I go with the XTD (either) I can get a AEM wideband UEGO! I have around 400 to spend right now, anyone with any "personal" exp with the XTD clutches? Good/Bad?
I already know about the competition clutches being good clutches as far as holding power and pedal feel....so I just want to compare with the XTD for those who are driving with these
EDIT: I am using my Stock flywheel but im having it resurfaced
