Does any one know which b16a cable tranny has the shortest gears? y1, j1, or s1 that came in the ef9 sir or the ys1 lsd or ys1 non lsd that came in the 92-93 integra xsi?

 

I think all the b16 trannys are geared the same but the JDM is shorter geared. As for the Ys1 trannys. The GSR one has shorter gearing than the LS. The GSR YS1 is your best bet if you can find one. They are very sought after and very rare but if you find one its a little be longer geared than the b16 and you will find it the best out of all the Cable Trannys.

 

so the ys1 tranny is a gsr tranny.....I want the shortest gears possible....guess im not going with that set up

 

the YS1 short gear cable trans is basically a type - R cable trans...pretty sweet if you can find a clean one. the other short geared trans are pretty short as well

 

So then you guys are saying get the YS1 LSD tranny right? It is the shortest geared transmission?

the other short gear tranny are very short as well...so any of them should be ok..
