A friend of mine lost reverse in his B16 so we pulled the transmission to investigate. We pulled the transmission apart and nothing looked to be out of the ordinary. We can easily bench shift it into reverse with the case lined up and sitting on the transmission but as soon as we torque the case back together it won't go into reverse anymore. Every other gear works just fine so were stumped. Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys.

 

Nevermind the thread can be closed. The transmission was low on fluid on the dyno and some parts got hot and warped inside the transmission.
