will the Zex cam work for the D16y8 engine. i posted in the civic forum but no one seemed to answer me

Nope! I dont remember why, but it will not work in a D16Y8, only in the D16Z6. Maybe someone else can elaborate but I forget! Later!

i think the cam fits differently into the distributor, i could not use a d16y8 distributor on my d16z6 because of the keyway on the distributor
