Default ZC timing and starting problems

ok i have a 89 HF CRX with a JDM DOHC ZC. well i droped it in like 2 months ago and havent gotten it to run right. i had the head rebuilt and resurfaced at a shop. when i got the car out of the shop it didnt go past 3k. i took it to a perfomance shop and they fixed most the problems/codes that the ecu was giving out. i was at that shop (called PYR) picking up my car cause they called me and told me it was ready. while i was there they showed me that it was reving past 3k and everythign was fine. when they were reving a few times knocking started to happend. so i took the car home and took off the tranny and found out the damn bolts to the flywheel were loose so i fixed that. after all this fixing i got a new distributer and had PYR install it and got a new cam sensor. it started to run like **** after the distributer was put in. its ran very rich at times when it started up. it blew black smoke out the exhaust. when i took the car back to my house i took off the distributer to inspect it. it was still good. the distributer gives spark to all wires. when i put it back on i turned the shaft that goes into the cam a lil too much. i think i might have messed the timing up a lil or something. now the car wont start up. could this be a timing problem? i have air, fuel, and compression cause the motor was running fine before. just that it dumps a lot of gas. i am running a PG7 ecu and stock HF wiring harness. u can smell lots of gas, like too much gas. does anyone have any clue what it could be? timing possibly? PYR did the timing but maybe they didnt do it right. can anyone explain how to do timing on a ZC or has had this kind of problem before with a ZC? any resource or anything about how to do timing on a ZC will help out a lot. u can message me on AIM anytime at - Lzybon . im online everyday. i really need to get my car fixed cause its my only car.
