try using b-series ( they will require some shaving to slide further onto the cam), or simply buy yourself some JUN or Toda cams specific for ZC

just to remind you that with stock cams, cam gears will not net you much power

Neither JUN nor Toda makes cams for the ZC. If you're just talking about the gears, check out www.digitalracer.com. They have HKS and JUN ZC-specific cam gears, but they ain't cheap. $163.95 a pop for the HKS and $177.95 for JUN. For ZC cams I believe Crower will sell you regrinds (no, they're not on the site) and theoretically you should be able to use any cams intended for an '86-'89 Integra.

I have a zc in my first gen integra and I picked up some cam gears for my zc on http://www.nopionline.com. select acura integra 1986 go to engine componets, then timing gear. They are made by AEM they are $150.05 and they come in Blue Red And Silver.

The D16A1 and ZC cam gears are different I think. Something to do with the number of teeth. I do know that the ZC uses the same timing belt as the B20A5 (3rd-gen lude motor) and not the 1g teg, so that leads me to believe that they use different cam gears as well.

I recently picked a set of Skunk2 cam gears for my ZC but have yet to install them due to the fact that it seems to rain every freakin weekend around here. Anyway here's what I've been able to see so far. The new ones definitely have the same # of teeth and are a perfect match tooth profile-wise as compared to the stock ones although the new ones are somewhat wider (approx. 1/8 in.). I'm guessing this is due to the fact that they are for a few different motors. I'm also hoping this will solve any belt placement problems that I've heard about. The label on the box sez "1.6L/1.8L DOHC H23 NON VTEC" . So far these look the right ones. Any clues, anyone,....anyone?

I know for a fact that the first gen integra cam gears will work. I use them on my ZC. I have been using them for about a year now and the AEM seem to work well.
