As you know phsyically the swap will be the same... Electronics/sensor wise there are a few things you'll have to change over but nothings a big deal... Just because of the way I do things I would pull off your stock Y7's engine harness to do the wiring... There's not much too it but you'll need change and rewire the IAC from a rotary style 3 pin connector to a round 2 pin (just as every other motor uses)... Injectors can just be moved over from your Y7 to the Z6 head... Since I don't work with SOHC's that often I'm not really sure about the dizzy itselt (check with someone that knows SOHC's to see if the VTEC and nonVTEC distributors are interchangeable) and if your Y7 will work with the Z6 head then just use it.... If not you can cut/solder the OBDII connector on or repin either side of the plug making it plug and play with the harness (most commonly people do this to the distributor itself as it is less work and simply matching colors)... I do so to the harness side as I normally have all the loom ripped off and it looks cleaner... Besides that it would be best to cut off your IAT (the plug that plugs into your Y7's airbox above the TB) and solder on a round connector (same as the IAC) so that it will plug directly on to the runner mounted IAT on the Z6 head... Run a VTEC and VTM (VTEC pressure sender) wires from the ECU to where you'll need them and reloom the harness... You're doing what I normally do for B series swaps into '96-2000 Civic's only it's still for a D series so less wiring is involved... Good Luck and let me know if you need anything else... Peace
