I am getting ready to use the z10 plug as well. Did it feel pretty snug just being pressed in or do you feel it needs hondabond(or similar product) to be held in? Thanks.

Phil

mine fit very snugly, probably didn't need it, but it can't hurt. Better to use something rather than having a plug vibrate out of your block.

I used hondabond between the two rubbers.

Mine didn't go in all the way though. Very strange. I'm putting it on a LS block but it definitely looked like there was plenty of space. Still, there was about 1/4" left over. I tried knocking it in with a rubber hammer but it wouldnt budge. Now I'm debating if I should just leave it alone instead of messing it up by trying to remove and start over.

Did you guys get it in all the way?

vince when I got mine from Jim at z-10 he said to put some hondabond on it and take a rubber mallet and smack that puppy in. If you need honda bond and don't want to buy a whole tube you can borrow some when I get home in a few days.

Of course what would setup be with out jb weld. Maybe once you use hondabond you may substitue that for jb weld.
