Default Ys1 confusion

I have a cable Ys1 transmission that I bought a little while ago and at this point I'm really not sure as to which Ys1 it is :/ I was told by the seller that it was a b16 trans but he wasn't sure. I plan on mating this up to a 95 b18b and want to use the clutch and starter already in the Y80 hooked up to the b18, will it work? And any help as to identifying my trans is greatly appreciated, I have the case split if that helps.

from what i remember there are only two ways to tell the difference unless you know what car it came from.

1. Count the teeth on the ring gear i cant really remember right now one has 66 teeth the other has 64 i think someone here can verify this i guess

2. Actually driving the car...the short gear ys1 cruises 80 around 4400-4500 rpm the long gear one around 3800

those are the only two ways i know...unless it has lsd then you know for sure its short geared

Also it says YSK-1 on the tranny, does that help at all?
