Default yet another Skunk2 IM install

hey whats up everyone ive been reading up on skunk2 IM's lately and problems people have had with them because the other day i put mine on my B17 (pr3 head, same as B16) and i have all the vacuum hoses connected to something, cruise control as well but i am still having problems with idle.

when i start it up, the car idles very rough and after a couple seconds the CEL comes on and it bounces up to 4000 rpm for idle. i had to drive it home from my friends house like taht and it was leaking coolant all over the place so that means theres obviously a leak somewhere and i double checked everything making sure it was torqued down enough and yet this problem still persists..im thinking since i may have ran it very hot, i could have blown the head gasket but i dont know why it would still idle that high! im all out of ideas and im open to anything advice! thanks a lot!

if youe leaking coolant you might not have hooked up the heated throttle body...therer are 2 lines that run in to it with coolant in them.........but it doesnt explain the idel....sounds like a vac leak???

Is your MAP hooked up w/ out any leaks in the line? that can cause a crappy idle.

did you get new gaskets when you replaced it? they eaisily tear when you take them off so you should look into that.

There is a second (small) coolant hardline that is under the main one on the IM make sure that is capped or re-routed correctly.

Also make sure your lines are running to your IACV correctly.

yes i capped it off on the IM, but otherwise where would it be re-routed to? does the vacuum hose from the IACV go to the throttle body?
