will synchros from a usdm 92-93 gsr tranny work in my jdm y1 cable tranny?

 

i've tried this before myself only i was trying this with my old JDM S1 trans. none of the synchros worked for me. and NONE of the 92-93 GSR YS1 gears will swap to your trans either.

you might try searching this board though. someone here claims to be able to get JDM synchro rebuild kits. goodluck

 

good luck! I will retire when I find the solution! I can get 4 containers from China a week, 3 from Japan if needed. There is room!
