Default Wrong ECU causing trouble code?

I have an LS/VTEC b18b block w/ b16 head and a P30 ECU
Recently when im having fun w/ my car and reving higher, i will sometimes throw a trouble code. Its the first oxygen sensor. Would the P30 ECu be causing my engine to run a lil too lean and not putting enough fuel into it because it is meant for a 1.6 liter engine?

check the o2 with a ohnm meter, ive ran a couple of friend b16 motors with a p30 and they ran fine. b16/b18 should be no problem.

What's so hard about posting the code number? Here, i'll help. Is it 1, 41 or 43? Knowing this will greatly narrow down the troubleshooting.
