would a motor work without the o2 sensor ?

dont have my downpipe in my turbo and I dont have my o2 sensor connected yet I trying to star my motor but it wont for some reason ... I was woundering if my newly build would start without a 02 sensor ?

Yes it will start without an o2 sensor.

Yup, the ECU isnt looking for the O2 sensor input until the motor (and O2 sensor) warms up.
