Default Wont start, no spark

So the story is this... while swapping out plug wires the car decided not to start up again. I went back with the regular wires that worked just fine. I have fuel but no spark. The car ran fine, and all of a sudden just wouldnt start back up.

-Ive tried 2 sets of plugs all gapped at .040
-2 sets of wires
-Cap is brand new
-Rotor is fairly new and in good shape
-Firing order is correct
-Timing is fine was never touched
-Just tried a BRAND NEW igniter (control module), and still no spark
- Checked all fuses and all are good

I have no idea what else to do. The only real thing i have left to try is the actual coil. Do you think this was just quit out of nowhere? Any help is appreciated. thanks.

From what Ive seen, coils go bad intermittently at first, then get progressively worse. Just like ignitors IMO.

Coils are easy and cheap enough to replace,Id say throw one in there just for the hell of it.

FYI-When I was a technician at a honda dealer, we suggested the customer replace the main relay, coil, and igniter. It was an expensive repair, but the only way we could repair these intermittent no spark conditions and guarantee it to resolve the problem.

You need to check your primary resistance and secondary resistance in your ignition coil and test the ignitor.. even if it's new.

What engine is this on?

I just tried to test it and the multimeter read OVERLOAD which a solid ringing noise. It didnt even give me an ohm load for either of the 2 resistances.

sounds like your coil has an open circuit on both sides.
throw a new one in there and see what happens.
