wiringtoecu
i would suggest that you try to find a P08 ecu that goes with the jdm d15b you are swapping to. the ecu you have right now PM5/6 does not have the vtec capability. or you could try your luck with a P28 from a 92-95 civic ex/si, they are probably easier and cheaper to find than the P08. or you could just hook up the vtec on a switch (rpm or otherwise) or you could try to hook it up using a vtec controller such as the Fields, like the kind people do mini-me swaps with.
it is more difficult to find bc they are uncommon. and only came in the 92-95 jdm d15 civic. that is why they are harder to find than say a P28 which came in 92-92 civic ex/si in all of the united states. alot more p28's were made than the p08's. i am just saying that he could in fact use that one also.
well I guess it has to say
p08j just doubled check on
Hondata.com
but you think that a p08 US could be chipped for vtec
cause I found a lot of them but did not purchase
