Default Wiring question

Wiring question: I've been reading diagrams all night and now im tired and just wanted some input

if you do an add-a-circuit on the dome light fuse, will whatever accessory you want to power be on all the time (since power is constantly running to this fuse in the box), or will it only be on when your dome light is on?

It should be on all the time. The door switch grounds the circuit.

Ditto the above^^^.

The dome light circuit is "hot at all times".

What is it you want to add?
