I have CTR cams type r t-body and skunk2 intake on my JDM GSR and when I open the throttle like 30-50% the intake makes this high pitched sound of rushing air, sounds like a BOV except it's constant. At first I just had a filter on my t-body but now i have a AEM CAI and it still does the same thing. Any one have the same thing? is some thing not right?

 

I have a aem cai on my accord and it makes I sound like that, just make sure all the fittings are tight and your all set.

 

Hmm sounds like a whistling sound? Its normal..

 

thats just the sound of the air rushing past the butterfly at partial throttle my ported GSR mani sounds similar at full throttle also...

Yeah, my ebay special short ram and my AEM CAI both do that on my 98 DX. Rick
