Default wire tuck issues. cant quite understand?

Hello everyone, first off thanks for reading. I started my wire tuck about 2 months ago. I just did the driver side looms in the bay at first. I did an awesome job, and forgot about the rest. So on last Saturday, I worked from about 1 pm till 3 am nonstop. I finished all passenger side wire looms, and I relocated the engine bay fuse box inside. After this time, I noticed a few weird things, and this is where you guys may come into play!

1) when I put on my right blinker, it blinks my lower right blinker light, then my left corner light. It worked fine before, so does anyone know a relay that controls this? I only messed with the passenger side looms, so iam not sure why it is blinking driver side too.

2) randomly last night I was driving home, and my gauge cluster lights went out randomly. All I can see is my high beam light. And after that went out, my idle started fluctuating from 400-1200 rpm. No clue how those are linked.

I know diagnosing wire tuck problems online is nearly impossible, but if you think you know any good information, I would greatly appreciate it!

When it comes to wire tucks and problems, you are genuinely on your own.

yep. Its not going to be a relay either. You are going to need to pull out the wiring diagrams and go at it.

Wire tucks seem like a good idea until you actually have to work on your car. Hell I have to take out my dash to do an engine swap. Sounds like you have some wires pinched off as to where they are starting to ground out. Good luck man you are gonna need it

MM&Y of car would help, along with any mods, [other then the wire tuck].

It is obvious you have mis-wired something, and yes it may be a relay, the only relay(s) associated with the signal lights, [after the "flasher" relay] will be in the ICU, it controls the front side markers, flashing them ON for signal and hazard lights. turning them on of park/running lights and flashing them OFF for signal and hazard lights if the park/running lights are on.

The ICU is a common problem on Honda/Acura, and both sides flashing when signaling one way is one of the problems of the ICU, however this is normally isolated to just the front side markers, but may still be the problem and just coincidental to the tuck.

With that said and the other symptoms that can not be related to an ICU problem, your back at the wire tuck and most likely a mis-wire.

As mentioned, a wiring diagram and go at it, [pull your tuck apart and trace] is your only choice at this point.

GL, you will definatly be spending more time "fixing" the tuck then you did doing it. 94

Does anyone have a schematic showing voltages through passenger side wire looms and fuse box in engine bay? I have already looked to no avail :/

MM&Y of car, or are you just going to keep us guessing?

I have a wiring diagram for a 07 Nissan Maxima in front of me now, do you want it? 94
