Default wiper problem

So, im not sure what is going wrong here. I adjusted my wipers, yet they still go up a few inches when the wind hits them. also, the drivers side one is hitting the a pillar, and the passenger side one hits the cowl when I put them on continuous mode. If i just tap the wiper switch, it won't go all the way unless I hold the switch down till theyre about half way up the windshield. And they dont park right. Bushings? Bad motor/regulator?

If you can move the wiper blades you have worn out bushings.

What is the MM&Y of the car? 94

had a problem with the wipers not parking correctly new motor was little pricey so went used with a quality foreign car salvage parts place n the whole assemly with the motor was less than half the cost of the motor alone from the parts store and still works great for over a year now

Pretty sure you can not get just the bushings, may just have to get the part, bushings are in the rod units... http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...NDSHIELD+WIPER or as mentiond, at a bone yard.

Where are you, maybe there is a PicknPull close by, you can use Civic parts, most but not all the wiper parts are the same... http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...UBA%29+%281%29

At a PicknPull the motors are under $20 the wiper linkage assembly is under $10 and wiper arms are under $5 each and $0.99 for blades, so for $50 you could get a complete system, a motor alone is $300 at a dealer. 94
