hey guys have a small issue with my windshield heater. Not enough air is going to the windshield to defog my windows but when i set it to front on max it comes out fast but when it gets set to the windshield heater on max it blows softly (not enough to defog). Anyone got any idea whats happening?

 

Is your A/C up to par? If you're not already aware your a/c is what defogs your windsheid.

When you switch to defrost is there any air coming out of other ducts besides the ones on top of your dash?

 

i have removed my air con pump. when i want to switch it to the windshield the floor heaters are on aswell as the windshield, only setting i can get for the windshield.

 

Well, no A/C is killing you for defogging a windsheild, the manufacture even sets the a/c to come on when you put it on defrost automaticaly.

It also sound like your mode door is not fully going to defrost, it's stopping right before full defrost which is defrost/floor board. Iv never messed with a hondas mode door control but the first thing I would do is make a visual check to see is anything is broken or snagged or there could be something stuck in the mode door that wont allow it to go to full defrost.
