I know this is an old thread, but I also Know that the question will come up frequently in the future.

Vent Visor, made by AVS created the plastic vent product, owns the registered trademark Vent Shade, and introduced in-channel shades. They've been making auto window vent shades since 1935 - more than 50 years before the founder of weathertech started reselling auto accessories out of his home. Lund now owns AVS. Lund makes OEM versions of several of its products. I compared the Honda version and the AVS version side by side. If the AVS name wasn't screened on one set, they'd be impossible to tell apart. I bought sets for my 2004 and 2008 Elements.
