Default Will a TCM code (CEL) disable vtec?

As the title says. This is on an 02 Accord, manual tranny with auto ECU.

Edit: TCM meaning tranny control module, not traction control.

yes because it is going to limit power when it see a problem like wheel slip or wheel spin.unless it is manual'y turned off at the switch then the power will not be altered.
have it scaned and see what the problem is.
