Default Will a b-pipe from an EK Coupe fit an EK Hatch?

If anyone can answer this definitely, it'd be a big help. I need to know A.S.A.P, and nobody in the EG/EK Forums answered

yes, being the same series motor (ie D series). for B16 or B18, I believe the down pipe is a little longer.

yup it'll fit. if you need to modify it for a difference in header combination, just redo the cat. thats what I did.

Well right now I have no cat, I have a header that extends to right where the stock exhaust starts off. It bolts in perfect to my stock parts, just with no cat at the moment. (will fix eventually).

So the y8 exhaust manifold is the same length with the catalytic converter as the y7 right? So everything will bolt right up, so I should be fine

which one is the B-pipe?

I don't know if this helps or not:

It has to do with the downpipe/a-pipe (what I've been calling it)

The b-pipe is the mid pipe, it runs from the catalytic converter (or in my case, the header) to the rear muffler section, and includes a resonator. Im about to order a b-pipe so if anyone has any last minute opportunity to tell me it wont fit, go ahead Or else Ill find out the hard way. Thanks for answering my questions.

I have an EK that will have a B series engine and cat on it. I figured if I purchased an EX b pipe I wouldnt have to cut as much off of it, if any, when I installed it. I talked to Mike at IPS Racing and he told me to get the EK b pipe because the EX wouldnt work. I cant remember why it wouldnt work, but he said to get the EK and just cut it.

Yeah but thats cuz you have a B-series right, and they are longer downpipes right? Wouldnt they be the same just for the SOHC coupes/hatches.
