wideband and uberdata?

Default wideband and uberdata?

I'm new to the tuning seen and i was just wondering what i need to be able to tune my 250-300hp sohc. I dont understand quite what the wideband and uberdata is and ive searched here a lot can someone clue me in on what i need and how these two things work and if its hard to use? would be very much appriciated.

All a wideband does is record your air/fuel ratio so you can see how your car is running. This is a very useful tool when tuning your car. In uberdata you can record the info from the wideband in the lamba log so you can see what tables you need to adjust (this is awsome for tuning). All uberdata does is allow you to modify the pre-set maps in your ecu to your specification,per your application. Read up in the link that darknight provided and you will learn all you will need to know.
