Wideband ?
I am running an S300 in my GSR w/ an AEM Gague Wideband, I cannot hook the AEM into my factory harness so that the S300 can datalog the 02 readings, can I just buy a replacement sensor like the PLX and splice it into the factory sensor hookup and use it for closed loop and wideband reading or do I have to buy the whole PLX setup for it to work? I have asked the ? on the Hondata forum but the guy that replies to all the stuff on there would not really answer my ? just kept giving me the run around.... I am going to keep my AEM for reference while driving around but just need another sensor for the computer to read..... thanks
Cliffs:
Have AEM Wideband that does not read narrow band
Need Sensor that reads both narrow/wide for datalogging
Can I use just a lone PLX or other sensor to pull the closed loop duties

two ways to go.
Use your AEM wideband and a OEM O2 sensor. The OEM will handle the narrow band needs the AEM will handle the wideband needs.
Sell the AEM, buy PLX wideband.
the PLX narrow band output will handle the narrow band needs. the wideband output can be displayed on the wideband gauge. (display on the controller as well)
If you're looking to feed the wideband output into the ECU for tuning/datalogging purposes. Simply go the PLX route and put a switch on the O2 line into the ECU. one way it's narrow band other way it's wideband.
I run that setup daily and it works great.

Your first way to go is pointless as the factory 02 does not transmit wideband readings for me to tune off/datalog off of, and the AEM is not Hondata compatible.
I need to datalog, I dont need/want my factory 02 in there.... knowing that there is a sensor that exists and can read narrow/wideband.... i want to use that, I do not want to read the readings off the other sensor on a gague, its primary function is so the ECU can datalog the info and I can tune accordingly, and when I am not tuning, let it function as a factory 02. Let me try to re-phrase my ?, can a single lonely sensor such as the Innovate or PLX operate without the sending unit? I am trying to aviod pulling my AEM off the car and selling it, but instead just adding to the system
