Why won't it pass smog...
I am trying to get my ITR to pass smog, but running into a few issues. Here is the report from the smog station:
Here is a list of mods. What should I do to insure that it will pass smog?
4-1 DC Header (Non JDM)
DC SS Cat-Back Exhaust
DC CAI
Apex'i VAFC (I just reset this back to the factory settings. This was done after the smog check)
Vortec Fuel Pressure Regulator
Also, I ran the car without a cat for a while...Would I need to change out the oxygen sensor?

Go and get it tested w/ the VAFC at the factory settings. That kind of looks like a cold Catalytic converter to me.

Also use the stock ecu.

Re: (eda6)
yeah, set the VAFC back,
usually high HC means running rich, high NOS means running hot/lean, and if one goes up, the other goes down. I would change the computer back to stock settings and see what that does.

Also make sure you drive the car for at least 20 minutes before getting the test done, you need to make sure the cat is doing its job and it needs to be hot. Everytime I ever failed a smog was because I drove it right around the corner never let it warm up.
