I just put my motor together it is a gsr with type r tranny just rebuilt it. and I have an oil pan the it leaking from the gasket. it is warped. ill get a new one soon. anyway do you guys have any idea what may cause my CEL to come on only after I get on it? it is only up after 8400 RPM (it goes to 9000).


I was thinking the pressure could have pushed through the oil pan gasket and caused a drop in oil press to cause it but wouldn't it throw an oil light?

 

Check to see what code you get. Even if its not on anymore, the ECU will store the last code it had.
