Default Why does it do that?? Tech Q

I had my valves adjusted about 2 months ago and Acura screwed up my car. When the car is warm and at idle, the rpms would go from 750 to 600 and so on. Also you could feel the car shudder when the rpms are fluctuating. I posted this on a couple of sites and the one clear answer that it got was that the valve lash was too tight. I took it back and complained about it. They kept it overnight and still said nothing was wrong. I was so pissed that i just wanted the car back. Anyways, to make a long story short, when I turn off the car, I can feel that the engine turn over a couple of times. Sometimes once, sometimes 3, and sometime never. I never had these problems before I took it to Acura for the valve adjustment. Also the rpms don't flutuate anymore. Just the turn-off problem. Any ideas or suggestions? Please no "go back to Acura" because I might end up on the 6:00 news because the service advisors are complete A-holes! (if you live in T.O. stay away from Terrace Gate Acura!) The car is a 94 ls coupe with 65,000 miles. Thanks for your time and sorry it's sooo long.

Thanks for the reply. Is this a serious problem? I hope not because I just bought some rims and I'll be broke for a while. And where do I get this valve cleaner? I've never heard about it before.

Use Gumout Regane combustion chamber cleaner, its the best I have seen in a long time. Cleans the entire fuel system, valves, combustion chamber, and ports. Alot of top engine builders and tuners use it(ENDYN).

Thanks for the replies. Us canadians are not as lucky as you are. Here we only have Canadian Tire to look for automotive products. I went there today to find regane, gumout or the others and i couldn't find a thing. So I bought Slick 50 fuel system treatment with synchron synthetic. Is this the same as Techron or the others?

If you are dieseling after you shut it off your idle speed is too high, The car is running too hot, or the timining just needs to be adjusted. I have also heard of a relay that can go bad in Honda's that cause the car to diesel
